Today actually felt like Summer’s on it’s way!
Finally Ice cream season is coming back!
In preparation, check out this recipe for protein sorbet! I made this last year as a post gym snack to help me cool down! Ice cream makers are quite reasonably priced (well I think so anyway, I managed to snag one for about £25), so it’s worth picking one up, especially when the low-cal ice cream brands that have suddenly appeared charge £5 a pint!!!

Mango and Coconut Protein Sorbet
300g Mango chunks
400ml Coconut Water
1 Sachet of Whey Box Coconut Protein
2 tsp Stevia
– Blitz all of the ingredients in the food processor until you achieve a smooth consistency
– Place the mix into the fridge and chill for around an hour
– Add the mix to the ice cream maker, around 10-20 minutes later it should be done!
If you’d rather a less ‘coconutty’ ice cream, substitute some of the coconut water for mango juice or normal water!
